gorchakovski3 January 2020 is a centenary year of birth of the outstanding Ural botanist, academician Pavel Gorchakovskii. The III National Scientific Conference with international participation "Information Technologies in Biodiversity Research" is dedicated to this date. The purpose of the Conference is to discuss and share the experience in biodiversity informatics technologies for research and analysis of biodiversity.

The post-conference workshops are planned on data publishing in GBIF and data analyses. The final topics will be available from December 15 on the Conference website.

Registration fee

The regular registration fee is 1,500 rubles. Please be prepared to pay upon arrival at the Conference in cash. The regular registration fee covers attendance to the scientific sessions, coffee breaks, and abstract publishing. Purchases to participate in ice-breaking session, field trip and extended abstracts publishing via PENSOFT will be made on-site.

 Venue

Registration, plenary, and conference sessions will be held at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (Ekaterinburg, Kuybysheva str., 48) of the Ural Federal University. The conference site is within easy walking distance of public transportation routes accessible by many local hotels.
